NDGOP Slams Recall Effort
BISMARCK — Today, North Dakota Republican Party (“NDGOP”) Chairman Perrie Schafer issued the following statement in response to news from the Secretary of State regarding a gubernatorial recall petition in circulation:
“This recall effort is misguided and will undoubtedly fail. Governor Burgum was overwhelmingly re-elected by North Dakota voters less than one year ago by nearly the largest margin of any candidate for governor in the nation.”
NDGOP Elects New State Party Chairman, Leadership at Annual Meeting
BISMARCK — The North Dakota Republican Party (“NDGOP”) is pleased to announce that Perrie Schafer was elected as State Chairman at the organization’s annual State Committee meeting that took place this past weekend in Medora. Schafer, a Mandan, ND businessman and District Committee Chair, had earned the support of outgoing NDGOP State Chairman Rick Berg after Berg chose not to run for re-election.

BISMARCK—Today, Rick Berg, Chairman of the North Dakota Republican Party (“NDGOP”) made the following statement in response to President Joe Biden’s decision to revoke the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline:
“Just hours after calling for unity – and with the stroke of a pen – Joe Biden killed 11,000 jobs and $1.6 billion in wages by cancelling the Keystone XL Pipeline. This particularly strikes at the heart of North Dakota’s economy as a leader in America’s energy independence. I call on North Dakota Democrats, including Chairwoman Oversen, Leader Boschee, and Leader Heckaman to demand that the President reverse this decision that will leave thousands of North Dakota families out of work.”
