District 27 Special Meeting

ND District 27 Republicans,

ND District 27 Republicans will be meeting March 6, 2025 at 7pm at Southern Valley Fire & Rescue (413 Main St, Horace, ND 58047). Doors will open at 6:30pm. The purpose of the meeting will be to fill the District 27 North Dakota House legislative vacancy.

For Republican candidates living in District 27 and interested in serving as our House Representative, fill out the statement of interest (link below) and send to ndgopd27@gmail.com by March 3rd at 5pm. Candidates who meet this deadline will have their names appear on a printed ballot and have their information distributed to the District Committee in advance of the March 6th meeting for its review.

Only ND District 27 Republican members are eligible to vote at the March 6th meeting. Proof of residency (valid ID with address), membership dues of $10, belief in the principles of the Republican Party, and the intention to support its candidates are required to participate in the meeting. North Dakota District 27 Republicans will meet March 6, 2025, to fill a vacancy in the North Dakota House of Representatives left by the death of Rep. Josh Christy.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Southern Valley Fire and Rescue, 413 Main St., Horace, North Dakota.

State law directs that a district must choose a replacement for a lawmaker if their seat is vacated.

Christy’s replacement will finish his term, which ends in 2026.
