NOTICE OF DISTRICT 37 REPUBLICAN PARTY LEGISLATIVE ENDORSING CONVENTION Notice is hereby given that the District 37 Republican Party will hold a legislative endorsing convention on Thursday, February 5, 2026, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Stark County Veterans Pavilion and Memorial, 801 5th Ave W, Dickinson, ND 58601. The business to be conducted will be the endorsement of District 37 Republican Party legislative candidates and any other business authorized by the District 37 Republican Party bylaws pertaining to endorsing conventions. In order to qualify as a candidate for District 37 Republican Party State Senator or State Representative, a member of the District 37 Republican Party must notify the District Chair of intent to seek endorsement no later than ten days prior to the endorsing convention, which is January 26, 2026, as required by the District 37 Republican Party bylaws. Notice of intent must be submitted to District 37 Republican Party Chairman Mitchel Baesler by email at mitchelbaesler@gmail.com or by phone at 701-527-5870. Participation, including the ability to vote, nominate, or second nominations, is limited to members who meet the participation requirements established in the District 37 Republican Party bylaws. All current members of the District 37 Republican Party district committee shall be automatic voting delegates to the district convention. No person shall be entitled to more than one vote. All other District 37 Republican Party members must have met one of the following criteria during the prior calendar year to qualify as a voter in the District 37 Republican Party endorsing process: 1. Be a member of the North Dakota State Republican Party and have paid District 37 Republican Party membership dues; 2. Be a member of the District 37 Republican Party Chairman’s Club; 3. Be a member of the District 37 Republican Party R-150 Club; 4. Be an approved District 37 Republican Party Legacy Member. Membership in the District 37 Republican Party is attained through application and approval by the District 37 Republican Party executive committee in accordance with the bylaws and payment of annual dues. The deadline to satisfy membership and dues requirements for participation in this District 37 Republican Party endorsing convention is December 31, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Central Time. Applications received after this date will be reviewed at a subsequent executive committee meeting and will not be considered for this endorsing convention.
