District 7 Legislative Endorsing Convention

This notice serves to advise you that the District 7 Republican Party will be holding our Legislative Endorsing Convention and our Delegate Elections on Monday, February 23rd, 2026, at Sunrise Elementary in Bismarck. Registration will begin at 6:00 PM where District dues of $20.00 also need to be paid (by cash or check only). Please review the updated bylaws Article III Section 1, for clarification on who is an eligible District 7 member.  

1. An American citizen of voting age (18)

2. Has been a resident of the District for 30 days

3. Has paid District dues of $20.00, effective for the calendar year

4. And believes in the principles of the Republican Party, intending to support its endorsed candidates and adopted platform in the next election.

Candidates seeking endorsement of the District Party for a Legislative Office shall provide written or electronic notice of their intention to the District Executive Committee Chair no less than (20) days prior to the District Endorsing Convention. Notice of Intent may be forwarded to Jerri Hopfauf District 7 Executive Committee Chair at jlhopfauf@yahoo.com.

Additionally, State dues of $50.00 are required in advance for all Delegates elected to our State Convention on March 27-29 in Minot ND. Please pay those directly to the NDGOP at Support – NDGOP.
