Sen. Dale Patten

For State Senate

I have served in the North Dakota Senate since 2019. I presently Chair the Energy and Natural Resources committee and Serve on the Finance and Tax Committee. I grew up on a farm at Plaza ND where we grew small grains and raised cattle and horses.I have been active in agriculture my entire life both raising cattle with my wife and in my career as a community banker in Watford City where I handled all types of lending including Ag and commercial. I have financed farm and ranch operations, small businesses on Main Street, oil field service companies, real estate development projects and many other businesses in western North Dakota.

I have served on many local boards and committees including twelve years as a McKenzie County Commissioner.

I have brought this background and experience to the North Dakota Senate as I work to help our state take advantage of the many opportunities and deal with the challenges associated with these opportunities.
