North Dakotans Reaffirm Republican Leadership
BISMARCK, ND – November 5, 2024 – Tonight, North Dakota voters delivered a resounding statement of support for Republican leadership in our State. The North Dakota Republican Party (NDGOP) is proud to announce decisive victories in all statewide races and the vast majority of legislative contests, underscoring North Dakotans’ commitment to conservative values and strong, principled governance.
“Tonight we witnessed another historic Republican sweep. I want to personally thank and congratulate Kevin Cramer, Julie Fedorchak, and Kelly Armstrong. Clearly, North Dakotans are confident in your Republican leadership,” said Sandi Sanford, Chairwoman of the NDGOP.
Further affirming North Dakota’s conservative mandate, Auditor Joshua Gallion, Treasurer Thomas Beadle, Insurance Commissioner Jon Godfread, and Public Service Commissioner Randy Christmann all earned re-election. This clear expression of support sends a strong message: North Dakotans trust in the Republican Party’s commitment to fiscal responsibility, energy independence, and limited government.
Republican volunteers worked thousands of hours throughout this election manning our Victory Office, dialing in phone banks, knocking on doors, distributing signs, and organizing events to encourage their friends and neighbors to vote Republican. Their work paid off.
In this election, 189,369 North Dakotans cast their ballots early or by mail-in or absentee ballot. That computes to over 30% voter turnout before Election Day and over half of all votes cast. Overall voter turnout was remarkably similar to the 2020 Presidential cycle.
“This is a night of gratitude and humility,” said Sanford. “I want to give a big ‘thank you’ to the people of North Dakota for their continued trust in Republican leadership. These victories belong to every North Dakotan who believes in freedom, family values, and a bright future for our State and country.”
