Over Labor Day weekend, Democrat Heidi Heitkamp’s party boss Chuck Schumer handed down new marching orders for opposing Brett Kavanaugh during his Supreme Court confirmation hearings this week.
Heitkamp’s colleagues obediently followed suit, attempting to throw the hearing into chaos right from the start.
REMINDER: Heitkamp dutifully followed Schumer’s previous orders: “Keep your powder dry. Don’t commit. Stay as neutral as you can, as long as you can.” That’s why Heitkamp has refused to offer her position on the nominee, even after she met him and acknowledged his sterling record and qualifications.
