BISMARCK – Today, Perrie Schafer, Chairman of the North Dakota Republican Party (“NDGOP”) issued the following statement in response North Dakota House Majority Leader Chet Pollert’s announcement that he would be retiring at the end of term:
“On behalf of the entire North Dakota Republican Party, I want to extend our deepest gratitude to Representative Chet Pollert for the over two decades of exemplary service he has given to our state in the legislature. As a true conservative leader, Chet has been an important advocate for our agricultural sector while also being a steward of our taxpayers’ money. While we will miss his leadership dearly, we wish him and his family nothing but the very best in this new chapter of their lives.”
