BISMARCK — Tonight, Rick Berg, Chairman of the North Dakota Republican Party (“NDGOP”) released the following statement in response to President Joe Biden’s Joint Address to Congress:
“Tonight’s speech represents an arrogant attack from the elites in Washington on the values we as North Dakotans hold dear. Whether it’s his insistence on killing good-paying energy jobs in our state in the name of so-called climate progress or his continued assault on our Second Amendment rights, President Biden has shown that his promises for bipartisanship from the campaign trail were nothing more than political theater. The President had an opportunity tonight to walk back some of his extreme proposals that have hurt North Dakota families, but has instead chosen to side with the radical left in first 100 days in Washington.”
