Following her lackluster debate performance Friday, Heidi Heitkamp’s campaign has tried to convince voters they have momentum simply by telling voters they have momentum.

Heidi Heitkamp’s brother and de-facto campaign spokesman Joel continued his auditions for a spot on MSNBC this morning, and it’s safe to say it didn’t go well.
Coverage of Kevin Cramer’s superior performance in the final Senate debate continued last night, with KX4’s Chris Berg reminding voters that Cramer delivered the best lines on health care, trade, the economy, and Heidi Heitkamp’s last minute desperation.
We’ve almost made it! We have entered our final week of campaign season, and our margin is razor thin. It’s time to make sure everyone gets out and votes for our phenomenal slate of candidates, who have been doing some great things I’m excited to share with you all.

Al Carlson Defends Voter ID Laws
As national media has covered North Dakota’s Voter ID laws nonstop, yet still do not seem to fully understand the issue at hand, State House Majority Leader Al Carlson defended our Voter ID laws with Valley News Live anchor Chris Berg.
Heidi Heitkamp has spent her campaign cozying up to President Trump, hoping voters forget her liberal record.
But now in a moment of desperation, Heitkamp is bringing Joe Biden, the second highest ranking official of an administration that:
- Offered amnesty
- Protected late-term abortion
- Caused premiums to skyrocket
- Burdened the agriculture industry with the WOTUS regulation
- Put energy jobs at risk with the Clean Power Plan and BLM Flaring Rule
- And told North Dakota’s small businesses, “You didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”
This is the agenda Heitkamp supported nearly 90% of the time.
“Heidi Heitkamp supported the Obama-Biden agenda even when it was wrong for North Dakota,” said North Dakota Republican Party Communications Director Jake Wilkins. “Joe Biden won’t be able to make North Dakota voters forget Heitkamp’s anti-North Dakota record.”
North Dakota Republican Party Communications Director Jake Wilkins issued the following statement on another debate victory from Kevin Cramer:
“Just less than two weeks from being ousted, Heidi Heitkamp seems to have perfected the art of Washington doublespeak that North Dakotans have come to resent. Heidi’s out-of-touch, liberal record was again on full display tonight; and North Dakotans are ready to reject her campaign of lies, manufactured controversy, and grave errors in judgement.”
Heidi Heitkamp has spent the entire election cycle trying to use North Dakota’s farmers, ranchers, and producers as political pawns.
REMINDER: Heitkamp makes these attacks because a pillar of Heitkamp’s campaign strategy is fanning the flames of farmer’s fears.
Throughout the entire Farm Bill process, Heitkamp has put politics above North Dakota’s farmers.
Her attacks increased when Kevin Cramer was appointed to the Farm Bill Conference Committee, a major win for North Dakota, but Heitkamp didn’t see it that way, labeling his appointment “politics at its worst.”
In stark contrast, Rep. Cramer congratulated Sens. Heitkamp and Hoeven when they were also appointed.
Heitkamp has changed her stance on agriculture-related issues just to score political points:
Heitkamp voted in 2014 to eliminate agriculture subsidies.
Heitkamp this year attacked Cramer for being part of a group where some members supported eliminating some subsidies.
When the House adjourned this year without finishing the Farm Bill, Heidi Heitkamp attacked Kevin Cramer for not demanding the House go back into session.
When the Senate adjourned without finishing the Farm Bill, Heitkamp said nothing.
A week later, she seemed to have learned nothing, using a WWII veteran’s picture and story without his permission to tout her office’s own work.
LET’S BE CLEAR: Heidi Heitkamp exploits whoever she can for political gain. This was not an isolated incident, but rather consistently bad judgement from Heidi Heitkamp.
