BISMARCK—Today, Rick Berg, Chairman of the North Dakota Republican Party (“NDGOP”) made the following statement in response to the U.S. Senate’s acquittal of former President Trump:
“I want to thank Senators Hoeven and Cramer for their votes to end yet another partisan witch-hunt against former President Trump. This entire charade shows how backwards the priorities are in Washington, D.C. Instead of engaging in this show trial, Congress should be focused on restoring the jobs lost from President Biden’s unilateral decision to cancel the Keystone XL Pipeline and providing COVID relief for our families.”
